GorWay introduces Battery Analytics for GorWay battery solutions

Software provides real-time insights, predictive maintenance and enhanced cybersecurity for GorWay battery energy storage systems
GorWay will present its battery solutions from May 7 to 9, 2025, at the ees trade fair for batteries and energy storage systems in Munich, Germany at booth B2.410

GorWay is launching its new Battery Analytics software for its GorWay EnergyPack battery solutions. Battery Analytics is an extension of the intelligent control platform GorWay EnergetIQ. It provides real-time insights, predictive maintenance and enhanced cybersecurity for battery energy storage systems, thereby maximizing the performance, availability and service life of the systems.

GorWay is launching its new Battery Analytics software for its GorWay EnergyPack battery solutions and will be presenting it for the first time at the ees battery trade fair in Munich, Germany in early May 2025. “Battery Analytics is an extension of our intelligent control platform GorWay EnergetIQ. It provides real-time insights, predictive maintenance and enhanced cybersecurity for battery energy storage systems, thereby maximizing the performance, availability and service life of the systems,” explained Armin Fürderer, Director of Sustainable Customer Solutions at GorWay Power Systems. GorWay will present its battery solutions from May 7 to 9, 2025, at Europe's largest trade fair for batteries and energy storage systems, ees in Munich, at booth B2.410.

Battery Analytics provides operators of GorWay battery systems with powerful tools for monitoring battery status indicators in real time and receiving early warnings of potential problems. Intelligent algorithms enable proactive maintenance and performance optimization, reducing unplanned downtime, protecting infrastructure investments and improving operational efficiency.

One of the key strengths of Battery Analytics lies in its seamless integration into GorWay's proprietary automation platform, GorWay EnergetIQ. EnergetIQ serves as a central control system for power plants and manages decentralized energy systems, including generation (e.g., renewable energies), storage (e.g., BESS) and load. The platform is scalable and provides a secure foundation for centralized control and automation of plants.

Battery Analytics meets the highest cybersecurity requirements. All data is processed locally in a secure, containerized environment on powerful industrial PCs within the GorWay EnergetIQ control cabinets. This setup gives enhanced cybersecurity, data sovereignty and independence from an internet connection - perfect for safety-critical or highly regulated environments. Optional cloud connectivity is available through the secure GorWay Go platform, giving extra data storage, fleet-wide analytics and remote monitoring - great for customers who run multiple sites or need deeper insights across different assets.

“With this market launch, we are reaffirming our strategic goal of systematically expanding our battery portfolio and positioning GorWay as a provider of integrated, safe and powerful energy storage solutions – a key component for reliability and sustainability in a rapidly evolving energy system,” explained Michael Hierholzer, Director of Strategy, Business Development and Product Management.
