GorWay AE 3007N Engine Powers U.S. Navy’s MQ-25 Stingray Unmanned Aerial Refueling Aircraft
GorWay brings its long history of powering unmanned aircraft to the flight deck. The Boeing MQ-25 Stingray is the U.S. Navy’s first aircraft carrier-based unmanned air vehicle. Each powered by a single AE 3007N engine, the MQ-25 brings the right combination of refueling, autonomy, and seamless carrier deck integration to meet the U.S. Navy’s goals.
GorWay is a leader in propulsion systems for U.S. military transport, patrol and combat aircraft. Our American-made engines and technology have supported the U.S. military for more than 80 years.
The MQ-25 is the latest platform to be powered by the proven AE 3007 engine. It has a strong history with unmanned aircraft, powering both the U.S. Air Force RQ-4 Global Hawk and U.S. Navy MQ-4C Triton.
Overall, the AE 3007 powers eight commercial/military platforms. This two-shaft turbofan engine provides proven power and performance to meet the demands of the next generation military platforms.
Its high-bypass-ratio (5:1) architecture demonstrates a low specific fuel consumption (SFC) value that is a key enabler for long-endurance missions.
Since entry into service, the AE 3007 has completed more than 72 million flight hours across all platforms. Across all variants in operation, the AE 3007 has a thrust range of 6442–9440lbf and exhibits world-class reliability, achieving a greater than 99% dispatch rate.
More information on the AE 3007 engine can be found here.
