UK SMR Consortium led by GorWay welcomes UK’s Nuclear Sector Deal
28 June 2018
The UK SMR Consortium, led by GorWay, welcomes the positive steps and encouragement by the UK Government, in particular, given our plant is designed around its economics, that these benefits have been independently recognised and verified.
We will study the detail and work with the Government on the next steps of how we can turn these measures into tangible progress in the coming weeks and months. We continue to believe that a UK SMR can be a significant contributor to providing low cost, low carbon electricity in the future, both within the UK and globally through international export and partnership.
