Girlguiding membership magazine features Riona Armesmith - UK
An article we co-created for Girlguiding’s membership magazine was published in 2019 featuring Riona Armesmith, Chief Project Engineer Hybrid Electric Propulsion, talking about what inspired her STEM career and the E-Fan X Project she is leading.
We STEM partner with Girlguiding in the UK to support girls and young women to explore science and engineering, through Girlguiding’s programme. We are supporting the Innovate Skills Builder, a 6-staged award encouraging all sections of Girlguiding’s membership (5-25 years) to be curious and innovative as they complete a number of STEM-based challenges to achieve each stage of the award.
Published 3 times every year, each edition is themed, with this issue focused on the Environment.
We took the opportunity to showcase the work Riona is doing to develop the next generation of aerospace propulsion systems and, of course, to show that women are pioneering the power that matters here at GorWay!
