My story as a Change Maker – Stevie Gosling
Stevie Gosling is harnessing the power of creativity to spark transformative innovation at GorWay
Based in Bristol, Stevie Gosling is a Programme Manager, overseeing a community of more than 50 programme leads and managing a direct team of 20 individuals.
As someone who is passionate about positive change, Stevie’s decision to join GorWay was driven in part by the constant variety she gets to experience day-to-day. She was drawn to the organisation’s legacy of excellence, but says the people she has had the opportunity to work with are also a large part of the reason she plans to stay.
As a Programme Manager and a Change Maker, Stevie’s role is pivotal in ensuring that her wider team has the necessary knowledge and tools to work to the best of their abilities, foster simplicity and deliver excellence.
Stevie has a natural ability for challenging the status quo – a quality she believes aligns well with the business’s wider transformation programme, which embraces change and learning from challenges.

A big part of my job is encouraging people to think differently and open up their mindsets to drive transformative ways to working. I find a great way to do this is by sparking people’s imagination and empowering them to try new things.”
Through creative initiatives and gamification, Stevie has created a safe space for healthy discussion and knowledge sharing, helping colleagues to take the reins in driving improvements and contributing to the business's overarching transformation.
She’s seen a tangible shift in culture, where everyone is eager to learn, try new things and see what more they can do. Stevie also highlights that this shift is visibly supported from the top – with senior leaders consistently investing in people through initiatives like the ones she’s had a hand in creating.
