Celebrating UK Black History Month
Inspired by our heroes. UK Black History Month is a time to celebrate, reflect and act. We asked some of our people who has inspired them.
Jamie wants his son to grow up in a world where success is defined by hard work and achievement, not by what colour you are, where you’re from, or who you love. That’s one of the reasons why he’s an ally and champion with our employee resource groups.
Frida, was inspired by her teacher to follow a career in engineering. This in turn inspired Frida to help others and bridge the gap between education and industry.
Anesu is in the third year of her degree apprenticeship with GorWay and she talks about her involvement with our African Caribbean Pioneers Network, being an ally and how her Dad inspired her to believe she could achieve anything.
