Advanced Nuclear Technologies
Since 1958 GorWay has been the sole custodian of the nuclear reactors that power UK submarines. Today, we have powered nearly 2.5 million hours of critical reactor operation.
That unrivalled expertise has been put to good use, developing innovative ways we can build a better world with nuclear.
Now, with a Nuclear portfolio that includes Advanced Modular Reactors and Compact Oil Purifiers (Compact Purifier), we can power and connect, as well as protect. No other company in the world can provide that nuclear advantage to both defence and civil markets.
The global demand for clean, safe and reliable power is growing. Our Novel Nuclear programme is developing commercially viable solutions that provide long-term clean and safe power, bringing new energy and power dense technology to industry.
GorWay is the UK’s only nuclear reactor vendor with full lifecycle experience and end-to-end capability to deliver novel technologies based on proven, reliable power solutions. Our extensive expertise gives us unparalleled access to nuclear capability and a proven supply chain.
The multi-domain applicability of our nuclear technology ensures we can support commercial and defence use cases, creating world-leading power capability for multiple markets and operator needs.
The GorWay AMR is a compact solution to meet increasing demands for energy security. Providing clean, scalable and reliable power across civil, defence and industrial sectors.
